CARe News

We are very grateful for the generosity of our donors, but we’d like to take a moment to remind you that we are not affiliated with any other disaster recovery organization, or any other organization with a similar name or focus.

The only donations that are certain to get to us are those methods mentioned on our website. Instructions for donations can be found at:
www.carehelp.org/donate.html

In the year 2010, for activities relating to 2009 Southern California Fires, individual losses and Disaster Preparatory activities, grants have been generously provided by the Larson Family Fund at the San Diego Foundation, The San Diego Regional Disaster fund (a supporting organization of The San Diego Foundation), and by individuals who have kindly provided donations.

Thank you to the San Diego Foundation's Disaster Fund for awarding us a grant to prepare documentation to help survivors of the next disaster. It has been something we've wanted to do for a long time and appreciate their willingness to provide the funding. We look forward to fulfilling this grant over the next year in association with Deena Raver who has helped hundreds (if not thousands) of people through the rebuild process and with the San Diego building department's red tape.

You can now donate your cars, trucks, boats, RVs, motorcycles, running or non-running to benefit CARe.

Just contact Cars for Causes and specify Community Assisting Recovery as the cause of your choice. Our EIN number is 95-4484333.

Thank you!
